The NEON 2023 takes place in Trondheim from 21 – 23 November 2023 at Radisson Blu Royal Garden Hotel. The hotel is in the city centre, only a short walk from the railway station and the airport bus “Værnesekspressen” stops near the hotel.

November 22: NEON Conference day 1 and conference dinner
November 23: NEON Conference day 2
Conference fee – Early bird: 4250,-
Conference fee PhD students – Early bird: 3500,-

Early-Career Scholars Workshop (PhD Day): 1750 ,-

All prices in NOK and including 25% VAT.
Registration deadline – Early bird: October 10.
The conference fee will increase by 500NOK after this.
All cancellations must be sent to neondagene@konferanser.ntnu.no
No later than November 1. Cancellations until this date will be refunded excluding a 500NOK processing fee. Cancellations after this date or nonattendance attendance at the conference will not be refunded. Another person from the same organization may step in as a replacement at no additional cost.
Single room: NOK 1595 per room incl. breakfast
Double room: NOK 1795 per room incl. breakfast
Payment of room is at check out.
Hotel rooms have been reserved at the conference hotel Radisson Blu Royal Garden Hotel. Rooms are book through the conference registration formula.
The NEON Conference is welcoming participants with or without a paper from countries outside Norway. We accept presentations in any of the Scandinavian languages and English. The track organizers will in their track presentation indicate the language for the paper presentations.

Organizers are NTNU, Faculty of Social and Educational Sciences (SU) in collaboration with Faculty of Economics and Management (ØK), Faculty of Humanities (HF) and Studio Apertura at NTNU Social Research. The Conference is organized in partnership with the NEON Secretariate at INN University. Technical organizers are NTNU Conference in collaboration with Centre for lifelong learning, INN University.
